What should I do if the Task Guide for a compliance task is unclear or missing information?

Task Guides in EPICompliance are designed to support users by providing helpful overviews and key details about how to complete compliance tasks correctly. If a guide seems unclear or lacks important information, consider the following:

  • Check for updates. Task Guides may be revised to reflect new federal requirements, organizational changes, or clarified guidance.
  • Report the issue to your EPICompliance administrator or support team so it can be reviewed and addressed if needed.
  • If the concern relates to your organization’s internal processes (such as how your team handles specific tasks), contact your supervisor, manager, or the appropriate point of contact for clarification.
  • You can also check in with a colleague who may have completed the same task and can share insight.
