How do I remove the ACA/OIG Medicare module from my compliance dashboard?

To remove the ACA/OIG Medicare module from your dashboard, follow these steps:

  1. Click the hamburger icon (☰) in the upper left to open the overlay menu.
  2. Under the “Administration” section, select “Licenses.”
  3. On the Licenses page, choose the applicable license assigned to your organization.
  4. On the License Details page, click the edit icon (✏️pencil icon) in the top-right corner.
  5. On the Edit License page, locate the ACA/OIG Medicare module and click the “X” next to it to remove it.

Once removed, this module will no longer appear in your compliance dashboard or factor into your module-based task requirements.

⚠️ Important: The ACA/OIG Medicare module contains critical components of Healthcare & Billing Practices Compliance, covering Waste, Fraud & Abuse, Private Insurance, ACA, and Medicare. These elements represent industry-standard compliance practices that may apply even if you are not federally funded.

Before removing this module, it is strongly recommended that your organization conducts a thorough internal review, involving your compliance officer, legal counsel, and senior management, to confirm that deactivation is appropriate for your regulatory obligations and risk profile.

Disabling the module without full consideration could result in compliance gaps that may have significant consequences during audits, investigations, or legal matters. Please proceed with caution and ensure that any decision to remove this module is fully documented and supported by professional advice.
