What happens when an incident is closed in EPICompliance > Incident Center?
In the EPICompliance Customer Console, an incident is a report that has been reviewed through the Incident Center by administrators or compliance officers.
When an administrator marks an incident as Closed, it means the investigation or follow-up has been completed.
Once an incident is closed:
- The record becomes read-only
- No further edits or uploads can be made
- The incident remains available for reference and audits
If new information arises later, a new incident must be created to maintain a clear and defensible record.
