1. From the EPICompliance Customer Console, go to the “Training Center” section > “Courses Completed.”
2. Click on the specific course that you would like to access the CME certificate on.
3. From the “Course Details” page, navigate towards the lower portion where the “Continuing Medical Education (CME) Certificate” box is located and click on the “Continue” button.
(a) NOTE:
(i) The CME certificate link is enabled to specific professions or positions within an organization, relevant to the CME certificate credit(s), i.e., physicians, psychologists, physician assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, dentists, etc.
(ii) If you believe your profession is currently not included in the CME certificate link enabled professions but should be, please contact us.
(iii) If your profession is on the CME certificate link enabled list but the link is not showing up on your screen, please reload or refresh your browser. If the issue persists, contact us.
4. You will then be directed to the University of Central Florida (UCF) Continuous Professional Education (CPD) Portal by clicking the “CME Evaluation” button to complete the brief CME evaluation survey and to receive the AMA PRA Category 1 credit certificate.
(a) NOTE:
(i) Copy or note the Activity Code specific to the Course. You will be prompted to affix this code on the succeeding page.
(ii) The EPICompliance CME accreditation was awarded by the University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Medicine, Office of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). The UCF – CPD requires course attendees to take the survey before obtaining the CME certificate.
(iii) If this is the first time you are accessing the CME certificate on the UCF-CPD Portal, you will be required to create a Profile, click on the “CME Tracker Profile Instruction” PDF document, otherwise click HERE and follow the instructions.
5. On the UCF – CPD Portal you will be prompted to log in and enter the Activity Code.
(a) NOTE: If this is the first time you are accessing the CME certificate on the UCF-CPD Portal, you will be required to create a Profile via the “Sign In” button. If you need further instructions on creating a Profile, click HERE and follow the instructions.
6. Upon logging in, follow the prompts and complete the Survey. Please make sure to add the correct spelling of your name, and your credentials as these will be reflected on your CME certificate.
7. Click “Done” button after completing the Survey.
8. You will then be prompted to the UCF-CPD Certificate Preparation page. Indicate the appropriate number of credit(s). Then click on “Continue” button.
(a) Take note of the maximum number of credits for the following courses.
(i) HIPAA Privacy Training Certification = 1.0 Credit Hours
(ii) HIPAA Security Training Certification = 1.0 Credit Hours
(iii)ACA/OIG Medicare (Waste, Fraud & Abuse) Training Certification = 1.0 Credit Hours
(iv) OSHA for Healthcare with Bloodborne Pathogens Training Certification = 2.0 Credit Hours
9. View, download, and/or print your CME certificate.
